Teeth whitening Bright teeth are a commonly accepted symbol of health and beauty. The process of bleaching does not damage hard tissues of the tooth, significantly brightening the colour of the teeth. Patients can choose between two methods of bleaching.
Teeth whitening at home
A patient is provided with a home teeth whitening product (Opalescens, Illumine). The treatment lasts about 7-10 days. At the first appointment a splint is made for night bleaching, by means of which a patient has a chance to safely whiten the teeth at home.
In-office teeth whitening
A teeth whitening lamp, BEYOND system. This system is one of the most popular in the world. It has been safely performed on over a million of patients. The whitening lamp includes the most technologically advanced filtering system available on the market. Thanks to the usage of ‘cold light’ the treatment is performed once and has no side effects. The procedure, which lasts 30 minutes, oxidizes 16 or more teeth, restoring them to a natural white. In effect, it scores a 5 to 14 level of shade improvement on the Vita shade guide, which is usually used by dentists. The Beyond whitening system is 30% more efficient than whitening by means of a whitening splint, and it is definitely more efficient than other similar systems. The treatment with the Beyond whitening system is a one-time procedure and does not irritate teeth; it has no side effects as well.
Additive porcelain veneers
Veneers function as restorative material providing colour, shape and the structure of tooth surface. They are used to close the spaces between teeth, so called diastemata. Additive veneers, the least invasive prosthetic works, are fabricated only in certain prosthetic laboratories and dental treatment rooms.
Additive veneers are an atraumatic method of treatment, teeth are not polished at all, or only a surface layer of a tooth, which is nearest the lips, is removed in order to hold the veneer.

Fully ceramic crowns are aesthetic crowns, their main advantage is the fact that no metal is visible at gumline, they do not reflect light, and they do not develop dark gums.
